The Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) donated two Nissan pick-up trucks valued at GH¢300,000 to Volta and Oti Regions to support the delivery of healthcare. Ms Hyejn Jung, Country Director of KOFIH Ghana Office said that the vehicles would support healthcare delviery operations in Afadzato South and Krachi West Districts.

Besides the donated vehicles, KOFIH also provided the two districts badly needed health infrastructure and equipment to enhance health delivery. KOFIH plans to establish telemedicine centres at the regional and district levels.

Acting Volta Regional Director of Health Mr. Robert Adatsi and Oti Regional Director of Health Dr. Emmanuel Dzotsi recieved the vehicles on behalf of the regional authorities. Dr. Dzotsi noted that the assistance provided by KOFIH would help reduce child and maternal mortality in the beneficiary districts.
