KRIF Ghana donated a fire, water and burglary proof reinforced cabinet safe GH¢15,000 to the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) to help the organization secure its valuable documents.
Executive Director of KRIF Ghana Mrs. Awura Adjoa Okosun said the company was giving back to complement the good faith the citizens of Ghana had kept with them for the 32 years KRIF had been in business in Ghana.
The donation was part of the company’s ‘Everyone must own a safe’ campaign. As a specialised agency, mandated to investigate economic and organised crime, Mrs. Okosun noted, it was necessary for EOCO to have a security safe to store valuables including documents, exhibits and samples for their operations.
Mr. Enoch Manford, Head of Engineering at KRIF Ghana explained that while insurance could replace most of an organisation’s furnishing in the event of a hazard, important documents such as deeds, wills and certificates could be lost through fire accidents.
Mr K. K. Amoah, Executive Director of EOCO expressed profound gratitude on behalf of EOCO to the intervention from KRIF Ghana. Mr. Amoah said the organization was in need of logistical support and safes like the kind donated came in timely.
