Lexta Ghana Ltd, producers and suppliers of Yaaz range of products gave Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge Hospital) GHS40,000 worth of liquid soap, hand sanitizers, rubbing alcohol Veronica buckets and sanitary towels. Presenting the gift supplies, Mr. Martin Brobbey, CEO of Lexta Ghana said, said the package of assistance was part of Lexta’s CSR commitments to help fight the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana. Mr. Brobbey described the fight against the pandemic as a national issue that demanded a collective national response and solution. He noted that we could not leave everything over to government alone, which is why Lexta was supporting the national effort with a package of its branded products.
Already, Lexta has contributed generously to the COVID-19 fight through donations made to Korle Bu Poly Clinic and the Association of Doctors in Residence at at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. Lexta reaffirmed its continued support for frontline healthcare workers in the fight against the novel coronavirus.
Dr. Emmanuel Srofenyo, Medical Director of Greater Accra Regional Hospital received the gift supplies and thanked Lexta Ghana for the generous assistance. Dr. Srofenyo appealed to other benevolent organizations, businesses and individuals to support the hospital to enable us collectively win the fight against COVID-19.
