MDS-Lancet Laboratories furnished a resident doctors’ room at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital (CCTH) at a project cost of GHS40,000. The project furnished the room with computers, a printer/scanner, furniture, a metal cabinet and a book shelve. The furnishings will provide a conducive space for resident doctors to take a break off work.

The CEO of MDS-Lancet, Dr. Paul Sekyere-Nyantakyi said the the company reached out to support the hospital following an appeal by CCTH to the company to support the hospital with a conducive space for doctors to rest between their work schedules. Dr. Sekyere-Nyantakyi noted that MDS-Lancet was happy to support the doctors, considering the critical service they render to society and their high sense of professionalism.

“You don’t have to be a health care professional to understand the challenges you go through but the doctors here are always ready to give off their best and MDS-Lancet was happy to associate with that.”
