Final year senior high General Arts 1 students of Mfantsipim School gave Dzorwulu Special School a package of food, toiletries and other essential supplies to support the operation of the school and care of the children.

A representative of the General Arts 1 class Mr. Collins Fiifi Annowi said the outreach was intended to bring joy to the children during the Christmas season and bring them the assurance that there are people out there who cared about their welfare. Another member of the class, Mr. Daniel Ogbarmey Tetteh Jnr said the class was excited to be part of a worthy cause.

The donation by the General Arts 1 class was supported by the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission Rev. Daniel Ogbarmey Tetteh who is General Overseer of the New Creation Chapel International.

Deputy Head of Dzorwulu Special School Mr. Frederick Tetteh thanked the Mfantsipim students for their generosity and thoughtfulness. Mr. Tetteh described the group’s action as being considerate of persons with disability in society.

Mr. Tetteh appealed to churches, NGOs and philanthropic and civic-minded individuals to come to the school’s assistance. Mr. Annowi also urged other senior high school students to make an effort in the coming year to donate to special schools.
