Millennium Insurance Company Limited donated ten branded canopies to the Ghana Police Service to be set up at vantage points in the Accra and Tema Metropolitan Areas. Mr Edem N. Awuku-Segbedzi, Marketing Manager at Millennium Insurance, presented the canopies to the Police Service in Accra. The branded canopies are expected to boost police visibility and enhance the operations and capacity of the police to provide security to the public.

Mr. Awuku-Segbedzi noted that this was not the first time the company was reaching out to Ghana Police Service, but that the Millennium Insurance has been supporting Ghana Police since 2014. He explained that Millennium Insurance believed that businesses must give back to society to help build a better Ghana, particularly to communities where businesses operate.

Officers of Shift A and B Commands of the Ghana Police Service received the gift package and thanked Millennium Insurance for the support. The following officers were present and witnessed the donation: Supt. David Ashong (Director, Visibility), DSP Emmanuel Quarshie (Transport Directorate), ASP Samuel Awabil, ASP Evans Boadi, and ASP Joseph Doe.
