Miss Ghana Foundation reached out to the La Community in Accra and donated face masks, paper towels, hand sanitizers, liquid soap and mechanized hand washing equipment to the New La Polyclinic and La Presbyterian Senior High School. The outreach team also donated PPE and supplies to market traders and commercial drivers in the community.
The community outreach was part of the Miss Ghana Foundation’s social intervention to help curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana. It was led by the foundation’s ambassadors Ms. Monique Mawulawe Agbedekpui (Miss Ghana 2020) and runners-up Ms. Issabella Agbo and Ms. Annlisa Anangfio. Mr. Bright Ofori (Mr. Ghana Brand Ambassador) and Ms. Dorcas Mansah Dacosta (Miss Oti Regional Queen 2020) played supportive roles in the community outreach.
The outreach was made possible with the generous support and contributions from Western Surgicals, Elikem The Tailor, IFON Paper House, Sani-Wise Innovation, Ben’s Kitchen, Omi Anti-Bacterial Liquid Soap and Ms. Rita Naa Odooley Sowah, NDC Parliamentary Candidate for La Dade Kotopon Constituency.
Dr. Ernest Quansah, Acting Director of the New La Polyclinic, received the gift supplies and PPEs and thanked Miss Ghana Foundation for the kind gesture.
