MTN Ghana gave a cheque for GHc10,000 along with MTN souvenirs to support the Nsein Kundum Festival in the Nzema East District of Western Region.

The festival is being held on the theme “harnessing the talent of the youth for sustainable participation in planting for food and jobs programme-the role of traditional ruler”.

Mrs. Anna E. Yalley, Acting Regional Senior Manager for South West Business District of MTN described traditional rulers as important development partners in Ghana. She underlined the role of chiefs as custodians of knowledge, norms and values and as change agents for mindsets about wealth and job creation.

Mrs. Yalley expressed hope that the relationship between the people of Nsein and MTN would continue to deepen for a mutual development agenda.

Awulae Agyefi Kwame II, Chief of Nsein Traditional Area expressed gratitude to MTN for the support.
