Nkoranza citzens resident in Amsterdam gave medical items to the St. Theresa’s Hospital at Nkoranza, in the Brong Ahafo Region.

The gift items included electric mattresses, children/adult beds, trolleys, medical casts, blood pressure meters and others. The union is planning to adopt a ward in Hospital.

Mr Peter K. Worae and his spouse who are leading members of the Union noted that the hospital has served the people in the area effectively over the years. The couple said it was important that all Nkoranza citizens assist the hospital to enable it to deliver services to the people.

Bishop Dominic Y. Nyarko of the Catholic Diocese of Techiman, recieved the gift on behalf of the hospital and thanked the Union for the donation.

Witnesses at the presentation event included Nana Okofo Adjapong III, acting President of Nkoranzaman Traditional Council, Mrs Diana A. Kissiwaa, MCE of Nkoranza Municipal Council and Mr Francis Tawiah, the Hospital Administrator.
