The Old Vandals Association of the Commonwealth Hall of University of Ghana presented a photocopier, a printer and a scanner worth GH¢3,000 ($930) to the Mother Teresa School for Girls at Senya Beraku in the Central Region.

The Mother Teresa School was founded by former National President of the Old Vandals, the late Mr. Kwesi Essel-Koomson who passed away about five years ago.

Making the the presentation on behalf of the Old Vandals, the National President, Alhaji Razak El-Alawa said the Old Vandals would continue to support the school because of the role the school was playing to keep needy girls at Senya at home, which was a far cry from the past when the girls because of poverty were sent to places like Yeji on fishing expeditions and therefore denied basic education.

Receiving the equipment on behalf of the school, the Parent Teacher Association (PTA ). Chairman, Mr. Anthony Mensah, thanked the Old Vandals for their public-spiritedness and lauded them for supporting the school over the past 10 years.
