Students of Power College in Ho in the Volta Region contributed part of their school provisions and donated them Children’s Ward of the Ho Municipal Hospital.

The gift included toiletries, detergents and other assorted items. The students described their donation as their widow’s mite to support the welfare of the children on admission.

Headmaster of Power College Frank Ahiaxornu said the outreach was part of the school’s SRC Week Celebrations. Mr. Ahiaxornu said it reflects the core values that the college upholds, which included the virtues of charitable giving.
