Promasidor Ghana, producers of Cowbell and allied range of products, donated GHS300,000 worth of its branded products and cash to support Ghana’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Of the total, the COVID-19 National Trust Fund received GHS70,000 cash and GHS60,000 worth of products. The remainder of GHS170,000 worth of products was donated to frontline workers in the Greater Accra and Ashanti Police Commands and the military.

HR Manager at Promisador Ghana Mr. Andrews Bodom praised government’s effort at leading the COVID-19 fight. Mr. Bodom described the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic as a collective one. Mr. Bodom explained that this was the reason Promisador was already supporting several ongoing community initiatives in addition to providing support for the Trust Fund and other frontline institutions.

Making a similar point, Mr. Shine Torsoo, Marketing Manager at Promisador Ghana, acknowledged that several difficulties have arisen in the wake of the pandemic and that it was important that businesses continually supported government efforts in addressing these challenges.

Justice Sophia Akuffo, Chairperson of the COVID-19 National Trust Fund, received the donation package with grattitude to Promisador Ghana. Mrs. Akuffo assured the Promisador giving delegation that the resources donated would be applied to their best and prudent uses.
