QNET gave a gift of food supplies to Northern Regional Chief Imam Sheik Abdul-Salam Ahmed for onward distribution to low-income Muslims during the Ramadan season. The package included rice, cooking oil, bottled water, tomato paste, soft drinks and sanitary supplies.

Mr Abdulai Iddrisu, Independent Representative of QNET,  described the outreach as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility commitment to show love and put smiles on the faces of the vulnerable in the Month of Ramadan. Mr. Iddrisu said the gift supplies would support the Chief Imam’s effort to provide for many who were dependent on him.

Mr. Biram Fall, QNET’s Regional General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, said the company had been consistent with its Ramadan charitable outreach over the years. He said as QNET made progress in business, the company believed in spreading the joy and fulfilment that came with business success.

Sheik Ahmed thanked QNET and promised to ensure that people in need benefited from the gift package.
