Saham Life Insurance Ghana Ltd renovated and ‘the Pitch’ TV room at the Kumasi Technical University (KTU) and provided a large screen LED TV set at a total project cost of GH¢ 50,000.

The project was in response to efforts by the SRC President Eugene Prempeh and his team who led efforts to solicit.

“The Pitch” is a 250-capacity auditorium with a light-emitting diode (LED) flat screen television to serve as a learning and recreational centre for the university.

CEO of Saham Life Ghana Mrs. Gifty Alabi-Fiagbe said the gesture was to help bring the university up to speed in disseminating information electronically. Mrs. Alabi-Fiagbe said the outreach was proof of Saham Group’s commitment to give back to its partners and all stakeholders who believe in its brand.

Mrs Alabi-Fiagbe called for proper maintenance of the facility in order to encourage the company to do more for the university.

Acting Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the university, Prof. Asiamah Yeboah commended the company for its support for the school over the past. Prof. Yeboah called for greater collaboration between the two parties.
