Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) donated 140 story books to Ghana library Authority. The books are expected to augment existing stock of books at the library to provide young people the choice to access a collection of books that meet their preferences.

Head of Customer Service at SSNIT Mrs. Victoria Abaidoo describe the donation as part of SSNIT’s CSR commitments in education. Mrs. Abaidoo SSNIT’s educational outreach seeks to nurture the minds of children who visit libraries across the nation and help prepare them for the future.

Mrs. Abaidoo also explained that the donation is SSNIT’s contribution to help promote reading and cultivate the habit of reading at at early ages for school children.

Executive Director of Ghana Library Board Mrs. Rebecca Akita received the story books and thanked SSNIT for their continuous support.
