Stanbic Bank Ghana Ltd donated some 30 air conditioners to the Ghana Police School of Public Safety  Presenting the equipment to the Inspector General of Police, Alhassan Mohammed, the Head of Personal banking, Nana Benneh expressed the bank’s excitement in patterning the Police Service to provide consumer products to its personnel.

He said the bank has the “widest range of consumer products and invited the police to join the Stanbic family by routing their pay checks through the bank. The Police, he said, would enjoy competitive mortgages, personal loans and could shop for home appliances paid for by the bank to be paid back by the customer in installments.

Thanking the management of the bank for the gesture, the IGP called it a “well-illustrated example” of public-private partnership acknowledged by the Service as key to improving performance.
