STL Amandi Foundation (SAF) donated GHS180,000 to Ghana’s National COVID-19 Trust Fund. The foundation also provided personal protective equipment (PPE) and food supplies to the Ministry of Health (MoH) in support of Ghana’s COVID-19 response interventions. The assistance package included overalls, face masks, cooking oil, rice, milk, fruit juice, flour, couscous, tomato paste, lentils and salad dressing.

Executive Director of STL Group Mr. Nadav Simhoni said the company felt a strong sense of duty to join join the fight against COVID -19 by providing essential hospital equipment and food supplies to Ghana’s frontline healthcare workers, who are working hard to protect Ghanaians from the effects of the new coronavirus. Mr. Simhoni commended the Government of Ghana for its effective response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He noted that, at such a critical time, STL was honoured to be part of the Ghanaian community and to contribute to its development.

Mr. Simhoni reported that, through COVID-19 interventions of STL Foundation, the STL Group had dedicated its volunteer efforts to support and promote the education, health and welfare of children and adults across several communities.

Health Minister Mr. Kwaku Agyeman-Manu received the assistance package and financial support from  expressed gratitude to the foundation, adding that it was through such support that the country had been able to achieve some progress in its Covid-19 response activities.
