Tema Lube Oil Company Ltd commissioned a GH¢200,000 police post for Tema Regional Police Command. The facility has a charge office, station officer’s office, cells, wash-room, and an investigation desk.

The new police post will help Tema Regional Police Command execute its security mandate and improve on the safety and security of citizens. Board Chairman of Tema Lube Oil, Mr. Kow Abaka Kwansah, explained that security was one of the thematic areas of the company’s CSR policy.


Mr. Kwansah noted that, as a business in a port and industrial city, Tema Lube Oil recognised the inevitability of various security challenges within the metropolis. He said the company was therefore happy to assist when the Tema Metropolitan  Assembly appealed for assistance.

Tema Regional Police Commander DCOP Edward Johnson commended Tema Lube Oil for providing the police post, which he said would contribute to the maintenance of law and order and reduce crime.
