Tema Lube Oil Company Limited (TLOC) commissioned a GH¢200,000 state-of-the-art facility dental unit for the Manhean Polyclinic at Tema. Civil works and modification engineering converted two rooms and a hallway into a fully furnished, air-conditioned doctor’s consulting room, treatment room, nurses’ office and an out-patients department. The facility was also furnished with an air compressor, x-ray machine, monitors, sagging machines, dental chair and a complement of supplies and accessories.

In the past, the polyclinic was unable to provide dental services due to lack of infrastructure and equipment. As a result, all dental related cases were referred elsewhere. Managing Director (MD) of TLOC Mr. Amos Donkoh appealed to other businesses to to support public institutions to enable them deliver on their mandates.

Director of Manhean Polyclinic Dr. Joseph Kojo Donkor thanked TLOC for its support for the polyclinic. Metropolitan Chief Executive of Tema Mr. Felix Mensah Nii Annan-La also commended TLOC for saving dental patients the hassle of of traveling long distances to seek dental care.
