Total Petroleum Ghana built a three-unit classroom school facility for Tigboro Jeffiiri DA Kindergarten & Primary School in Upper West Region.

The fully furnished facility also had administrative and staff offices, a playground, toilet facilities and a mechanized borehole to provide potable water.

Managing Director of Total Petroleum Ghana Eric Fachini said the support was an important part of Total’s corporate social responsibility and the company’s way of giving back to communities in Ghana where Total has been doing business for over six decades.

Mr. Fachini mentioned road safety campaigns for school children, Malaria prevention educational scholarships as some of Total’s community outreach programs.

District Chief Executive Christina B. Amadu commended Total for investing in education, a vital aspect of societal growth and assured Total that the facility will be maintained with care to ensure it serves its intended purpose..

Headmistress of the school Joyce Garyoun thanked Total Petroleum Ghana for helping create a conducive learning environment for both teachers and pupils.
