Total Petroleum Ghana donated GHS100,000 worth of petrol to the COVID-19 National Trust Fund. The gift was the contribution of Total Ghana in support of the fight against the spread of COVID-19. The gift was in the form of 100 Total Cards with a value of 230 liters of petrol per card. The petrol package will be utilized by emergency vehicles used to fight the spread of COVID-19 in Ghana.

Mr. Frank Boamah, HSEQ Manager at Total Ghana said it was important that the company to contribute to help prevent the spread of the virus. Mr. Boamah gave the assurance that Total Ghana will continue to play its role in protecting the lives of all Ghanaians and support government in its effort at fighting this pandemic. Mr. Boamah recalled that Total Ghana had already donated 250 boxes of hand sanitizers to commercial drivers and had as well provided critical supplies to driver unions across Ghana.

Mrs. Justice Sophia Akuffo, Chairperson of the COVID-19 National Trust Fund received the package and thanked Total Ghana for the support provided to complement government efforts at fighting COVID-19 in Ghana.

Witnesses at the giving event at Jubilee House included Mrs. Mercy Samson, Legal and External Affairs Manager and Mrs. Linda Andoh, Communications Manager at Total.
