Transitions refurbished the Children’s Ward of Ghana Atomic Energy Commission Hospital at Haatso in Accra. The GH¢70,000 project included the installation of isolation valves and high oxygen regulators. Other refurbishments included general aesthetics such as painting, wall decor and other furnishings. The project was completed in two years.
General Manager of Transitions Mrs. Jodene Smith the gesture was consisted with the tradition of Enterprise Group, of which Transitions is a subsidiary. Mrs. Smith explained that Enterprise Group had consistently focused on the strategic areas of education, health and community development in its corporate social responsibility commitments.
Medical Superintendent of GAEC Hospital Dr. Anthony Quampah thanked Transitions for their support and encouraged other companies to emulate their example. Children at the hospital were treated to some fun activities during the commissioning of the project. The activities included storytelling, face-painting and presentation of gifts.
