The University of Ghana Business School’s Level 300 Management of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) students course lecturer Prof. Justice N. Bawole (Head of Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management) donated essential supplies and cash of GH ₵2,470 to the Drug and Alcohol Free Awareness and Rehabilitation Centre (DAFAREC).
Prof. Bawole stated that the outreach was inspired by the academic demands of his students and was meant to help inculcate in the students the importance of giving back to society and to help them understand the practical managerial rudiments of NGOs.
Prof. Bawole thanked the Management of UGBS, students from both the Management of NGOs and Green Business classes, the Master of Public Administration programme and individuals who contributed to make the donation possible.
Director of DAFAREC Mr. Emmanuel Agyapong thanked Prof. Justice Bawole and his students for supporting the Centre. Mr. Agyapong made a passionate appeal for support to help rent a separate property to house and rehabilitate females as well.
