Beneficiaries received branded VRA anniversary books, sets of geometrical instruments, pens, pencils, school bags, water bottles, nose mask, hand sanitizers. VRA also gave each school a set of Veronica buckets. CEO of the Volta River Authority Mr. Emmanuel Antwi Darkwa remarked that the donated supplies were VRA’s way of motivating students in their educational and sanitation endeavors.

Mr. Darkwa addressed beneficiaries on the importance of the study of science, technology and mathematics in schools. He inspired students to take their studies seriously and take inspiration from technologies that were on display at the giving event.

“The use of the drone is supposed to motivate all of you here to venture into science and technology and I will be very happy that all of us will be gathered here maybe in 10 or 20 years time and one of you here will be a NASA engineer and will be part of the group to develop Ghana’s first space ship so there’s nothing beyond the human mind and we want you all to appreciate technology.”
